Cyclone
Racing
Our Purpose
Cyclone Racing is from Brentwood, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The team operates out of Brentwood High School and is preparing to take on the 2021 F1 in Schools World competition.

Brentwood has a long history of success in the F1 in Schools program. In the last seven years, Brentwood's had three teams invited to the world stage to compete in the F1 in Schools World Finals. Noctis Racing traveled to Singapore in 2015, Interstellar Racing competed in Kuala Lumpur in 2017, and Valkyrie Racing competed in Abu Dhabi in 2019.
Cyclone Racing strives to follow in the footsteps of Brentwood's past teams to get the team to the top.

So far the Cyclone Racing team has competed in the USA national finals where we finished 2nd overall, won fastest car, knockout champs, and best verbal presentation. With our success in nationals we were invited to the World Finals in spring of 2021

The Competiton and Upcoming events
What is F1
in Schools?
F1 in Schools is the largest STEAM based high school program in the world, with 1.3 million students from around the globe competing with each other every year. The teams will use CAD/CAM software to design, build and race miniature Formula 1 cars that they manufacture themselves using CNC machines and 3-D printers. They are also required to build pit displays, design portfolios and to maintain a social media presence to properly market their team.
